Find Out More About British Expertise International

About This Project

British Expertise International, formerly BCCB, is an independent not for profit organisation, founded in 1966. Our objective is to help member companies develop their business abroad. We do this by introducing members to key contacts and to potential partners and clients, and by supplying market intelligence and training.

Our wide range of contacts in the UK and overseas means we can offer excellent networking opportunities, and also effective lobbying in our members’ interests. Although British Expertise International maintains very close relations with a range of Government Departments, funding relies entirely on member company subscriptions and fee-based services.

The Role of British Expertise International

The role of British Expertise International is to help members win and successfully complete business overseas. We do this by:

  • Organising trade missions, networking and briefing meetings, and specialised training courses, mostly in London.
  • Collating and passing on project leads and other market intelligence.
  • Engaging with the British Government on issues that affect the export competitiveness of members.
  • Working with the European Commission, the World Bank and the other international financing institutions to help promote members’ interests and resolve problems.
  • Solving specific problems for member companies.
  • After many years operating in an international environment British Expertise has a well earned reputation for rapid and highly efficient service to members, and has developed an extensive network of high level contacts.
